Recent changes in GSA (e.g., financial structure and creation of a new Executive Officer position)and the creation of the 2011-12 UC System-wide student health insurance plan that replaces the UCSB GSHIP insurance plan, have resulted in the need to amend the GSA Constitution. A minimum of 20% of the total graduate student body must vote to approve the proposed changes.
